Installation
There are three options for installing Task Board:
- Method 1: Install from the Official Obsidian Community Plugin Marketplace
- Method 2: Install using the BRAT Plugin
- Method 2: Install from the Github’s source files
Method 1: Obsidian Community Plugin Marketplace
This is the recommended method to get the officially released version from Obsidian community marketplace.
Step 1: Open Obsidian.
Step 2: Open the Settings Panel using the Gear Icon from the Side bar: 
Step 3: In the sidebar on the left, select the “Community Plugins” tab, and then click “Browse” on the right: 
Step 4: Search for Task Board in the search bar. The correct one is created by Atmanand Gauns.
Step 5: Select it, and then click “Install”
Step 6: After installation, you will see an “Enable” button. Click it.

Method 2: Installing Using BRAT plugin
This is a special and more advanced method to install plugins. Because it helps to select the version of the plugin you would like to install. This is specially a very useful method incase you would like to rollback the plugin version to an older one.
Step 1: Install the BRAT plugin the same way you would install any other community plugin:
Open Obsidian settings > Community plugins > click on Browse button > search for Brat > Install and Enable.
Step 2: Add the Task Board plugin into the BRAT beta plugin list:

Open Obsidian settings > BRAT > Add Beta plugin button > Paste the below link > Click on Add Plugin.

Step 3: You should now see a notification that the plugin has been successfully installed. You should able to see a ribbon icon to open Task Board.
Step 4: Proceed to initialization step :Opening Task Board for first time.
Method 3: Installation from the Github Source Files
Step 1: Open this link : Task Board Release
Step 2: Download the main.js, styles.css and manifest.json file.
Step 3: Open the vault in your system Explore/File Manager.
Step 4: You should see an hidden folder .Obsidian in your Vault folder, open the folder. If you cant see the folder turn on Hidden files visibility option from your system File manager.
Step 5: Now you should see a folder plugins inside the hidden folder, open this folder.
Step 6: Now create a new folder here, called as task-board.
Step 7: Open this newly created task-board folder.
Step 8: Paste all the three downloaded files inside this folder.
Step 9: Now Close and open your Obsidian application.
Step 10: Open the Settings pane and then open the Community Plugins tab.
Step 11: You should be able to see the Task Board plugin here.
Step 12: Enable this plugin.
